Kiruna Wagon, a leading workshop company based in the Malmfälten region, is seeking engaged and technically minded individuals to join our tight-knit maintenance and production team. We are specialists in railway logistics and maintenance and deliver innovative solutions for rail car transport to world-leading industrial operations. Job Responsibilities: At our main station in Gällivare, perform various assembly and welding work during maintenance and overhauls of components. Perform inspections and maintenance on railway cars at our respective maintenance locations: Svappavaara, Aitik, and Kiruna. (This includes introduction to all work sites and areas) Carry out preventive maintenance according to work instructions and be available for deviations and corrective maintenance on locomotives in Kiruna and Abisko. Be part of the development of our field maintenance team. Perform preventive maintenance measures and documentation digitally. Opportunity for shift work and daytime work. Qualifications: Swedish – Reading and speaking Category B driver's license Meritorious: Vocational degree or certificate Welding certificate Bridge crane/truck/wheel loader card Relevant training in welding, mechanics, hydraulics, or electronics Welding competence: Experience with welding in workshop or industrial environments Workshop experience Railway experience Personal Qualities: Self-directed with the ability to thrive on field work in various assignments. Willingness to learn and develop within railway logistics. Safety awareness and adherence to safety regulations. Application: Interviews and selection are ongoing.
