About the Position

Scandinavian Pile Driving (SPD) develops and manufactures advanced drilling and piling equipment for some of the most demanding foundation projects in the Nordic region. We are now looking, together with Dala Industrisupport, for a service technician who wants to become an important part of the company's continued growth.
As a service technician, you will work with service, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of SPD's machines. Work takes place both in the workshop in Sala and at customer sites throughout Sweden, as well as in Norway and Finland when needed. This role suits you if you appreciate independent work, enjoy traveling, and are motivated by solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities
As a service technician, you will work with:
Service and repair of construction machinery and piling equipment
Preventive maintenance
Emergency troubleshooting and repairs at customer sites
Documentation of completed work and service reports
Functional checks and commissioning
Customer contact and on-site technical support
The work is varied, with approximately half your time spent traveling. Some service assignments are planned well in advance while others require quick response where you may need to travel on short notice.
When service workload is lower, you will also assist in the company's production, making this a broad and developmental role.

Qualifications
We believe you have experience with service and repair of construction machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, heavy vehicles, or other similar mechanical equipment.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Experience with mechanical work and troubleshooting
Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Good computer skills as troubleshooting is done using diagnostic systems
Class B driver's license
Good proficiency in Swedish and English
It is an asset if you have qualifications in truck operation, cranes, hot work, welding, or load machine operation, but it is not a requirement.
