Service Technician / Coordinator Machine Control at NCGeo AB

Your Responsibilities
NCGeo AB is growing and is now seeking a Service Technician/Coordinator within machine control and geomatics solutions. The role is primarily a field-based service technician position where you work at customer sites with installation, assembly, configuration, troubleshooting, and service of machine control systems for construction machinery.
You will work with:
Installation and commissioning of machine control systems
Assembly of GPS, sensor, and machine systems
Configuration and calibration of products
Troubleshooting, service, and upgrades in the field
Customer training at delivery
Planning and coordination of assembly and service assignments
Contact with customers and workshops
Support and guidance to other service technicians
The position consists approximately of:
80–90% independent technical work at customer sites
10–20% coordination and planning
You will work primarily from home with a service vehicle but will also work from the office in Sollentuna when needed. Travel occurs regularly within the Mälaren region but also in other parts of Sweden as well as certain assignments in Norway.
This is a direct hire, which means you will be employed directly by NCGeo AB.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who thrives in an independent and practical role at customer sites.
Requirements
Technical experience from installation, service, or assembly
Experience with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
Experience from construction, building, surveying, or related technical industry
Experience working independently at customer sites
Good technical understanding
Good computer skills
Swedish and English in speech and writing
B-class driver's license
Meritorious
Experience with machine control or GNSS/GPS systems
Experience with Leica, Trimble, Topcon, or CHCNAV
Experience as a service technician or field mechanic
Experience with CRM systems, for example SuperOffice
Education in electrical, automation, mechanical, or measurement engineering
Personal qualities carry significant weight in this recruitment. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be self-driven, organized, and responsible with strong internal motivation. You need to be able to plan your own work, take responsibility for your assignments, and stay on top of both documentation and equipment.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone who is technically curious, solution-oriented, and who inspires confidence in customer interactions. The role also requires flexibility, cooperation skills, and the ability to handle varying work days with both technical and coordinating elements.
