About the Role
As a service technician, you work broadly on technical tasks at customer sites, from hydraulic work on edge presses to troubleshooting control electronics and installing new machines. You largely identify issues yourself, determine the appropriate solution, and communicate with the customer on-site.
The role offers freedom with responsibility—you drive your own work independently but always have support from colleagues when needed. As a new employee, you'll initially work alongside an experienced colleague. The work varies between acute troubleshooting/repairs, preventive service, and installations; during operational emergencies, schedules may need to be adjusted on short notice. Assignments are with a mix of large and small customers across multiple industries.
In this role, you will among other things:
Perform preventive maintenance, service, and installation of industrial machinery, such as edge presses and rubber presses.
Conduct technical troubleshooting in hydraulics, mechanics, and control electronics, and carry out corrective maintenance during production stops.
Communicate with customers on-site and be responsible for planning and following up on your service visits.
Document completed work in digital tools.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone who is practical, thorough, and comfortable taking responsibility independently. You work autonomously, often alone at customer sites throughout the day, based from Maskinlogik's Stockholm operations. Good interpersonal skills in customer interactions are important, as the customer relationship is a central part of the work. For the right person, there are good opportunities for development.
We're looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience with service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines/technical equipment in an industrial or equivalent environment
Experience working with mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, as well as both preventive maintenance and acute troubleshooting
Familiarity with customer contact during service assignments, including upselling
Strong ability to troubleshoot independently, read technical documentation/drawings, and write service reports in digital tools
B-class driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
