Kalmar Solutions is now looking for you to work as a service technician with clear customer responsibility at Moelven in Karlskoga. Here you'll have an independent and varied role where you work closely with both machines and the customer's operations, with a focus on ensuring high availability and operational reliability. Responsibilities In your role as a service technician, your primary workplace will be at Moelven in Karlskoga, where you'll be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing logging and construction equipment. You'll be an important technical contact on-site with ongoing communication with machine operators and customer supervisors. A large part of your work involves preventive maintenance and regular inspections to minimize downtime and ensure high availability in production. You'll work independently on-site, with support from other technicians and colleagues when needed. Working hours are 07:00–16:00, and the position also includes on-call duty on a rotating basis, approximately every fourth week. In this role, you will among other things: Perform servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on logging and construction equipment Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of the machinery fleet Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical faults Identify repair and maintenance needs before they lead to downtime Maintain ongoing contact with machine operators and customer supervisors Document completed work and report back to the customer and internal departments You'll have access to a service vehicle to move around the customer's area and perform work-related tasks as needed. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Experience with heavy machinery, for example from trucks, buses, or construction equipment Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing vehicles or industrial/construction machinery Good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written Driver's license category B We also consider it advantageous if you have: Experience with logging equipment or similar machinery Experience with hydraulics Experience with electrical and control systems To thrive and succeed in this role, you are responsible, self-motivated, and service-oriented.
