Frohe is now recruiting a Service Technician who wants to become an important part of our operations. Here you'll have a varied and developmental role where you're responsible for ensuring that production equipment functions optimally and contribute to safe and efficient production.
Your responsibilities
As a Service Technician at Frohe, you'll have diverse work where you become an important part of daily production. You work both preventively and operatively to ensure that machines and production equipment maintain high operational reliability.
The work is varied—one day you perform scheduled maintenance, the next day you troubleshoot an acute operational stop or build robot grippers for production equipment.
The role suits you if you enjoy working practically, solving technical problems, and taking responsibility.
You will, among other things:
• Perform preventive service and maintenance of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
• Document performed service and maintenance work.
• Manage procurement of spare parts and service parts.
• Liaise with external service technicians and suppliers.
• Participate in improvement initiatives.
• Build and adapt robot grippers and other auxiliary equipment.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and who enjoys working practically. You are independent, solution-oriented, and motivated by finding effective solutions when technical problems arise.
To be eligible for the position, we see that you have:
• Upper secondary education in technology, industry, or electrical work, or alternatively relevant vocational training.
• Approximately 2–5 years of experience with service, maintenance, or repair of industrial machinery.
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and preferably electrical work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English.
• Ability to work independently and take own initiative.
Additional assets:
• Electrical certification.
• Experience with robots or automation equipment.
• Experience with injection molding machines.
• Experience with Jeeves or other business/maintenance systems.
As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and thorough. You thrive in a role where you can plan your own work and make your own decisions. The work is physical and occasionally involves heavy lifting, which means you appreciate practical work where you get to use both your hands and your mind.
