About the Workplace Gymnasieareal Center comprises Angeredsgymnasiet, Hvitfeldtska, Schillerska, and The International High School. Our service organization is responsible for facilities, housekeeping, inventory, and custodial services. You work in a team with service technicians, custodians, cleaners, food service staff, administrative personnel, and a manager. Together, you create a safe, solution-oriented, and professional service flow for the school's staff and students. We are now seeking an engaged and skilled service technician for Angeredsgymnasiet. Job Responsibilities As a service technician, you are a key person in the school's daily operations. You are responsible for ensuring that our facilities and inventory are safe and functional – which ultimately contributes to a good study environment. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact, and you and your colleagues play an important role in this. As a service technician, you will work both operationally with everything from ensuring that technical equipment such as projectors, copiers, and more function properly, managing digital key and access systems, handling mail and packages as well as internal distribution, performing minor repairs, moving materials/furniture, managing recycling, replacing light sources, and arranging classrooms and offices. You perform SBA with self-inspection. In administrative work, you assist with ordering materials for the service unit, administering and following up on service requests, chemical registration, and working with access systems, keys, and alarms. You have contact with everyone from students and staff to City Real Estate, tradespeople, Renova, and external tenants. Qualifications We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in facility services, technology, or another field that the employer considers equivalent. Alternatively, you have corresponding experience combined with relevant education. You have previous experience with facility-related issues and AV technology and are familiar with case management systems. Experience with digital locking and alarm systems and systematic fire safety work (SBA) is desirable. A B-category driver's license is also desirable. The position requires very good computer skills and strong knowledge of Office365. You also need to be able to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish fluently. The work includes physical tasks and heavy lifting, which means you need to have good physical capacity. You are both technically competent and service-oriented, with great commitment to creating a functioning school environment. You have a high degree of self-drive but are also a team player with good collaboration skills. You are solution-focused, organized, and adaptable when needed. You contribute ideas to improve working methods and routines. You enjoy varying workdays at a fast pace and can prioritize well in these situations while maintaining a professional attitude.
