Job Responsibilities As a service technician, you will work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Hammar's products. The work is primarily performed in the workshop in Olsfors, where you work with both new and used machines as well as customer machines coming in for service and repair. The position can be tailored based on your experience and expertise. For certain roles, field service at customer sites is also included, and for those with prior experience, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility by supporting the Service Manager with planning and coordination. Examples of work tasks: • Service, maintenance, and repair of Hammar's side loaders. • Troubleshooting in hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. • Modifications, upgrades, and custom adaptations. • Handling warranty, complaint, and service matters. • Delivery inspections and function testing. • Technical support to customers and colleagues. • Documentation of completed work. Depending on the role, the position may also include: • Field service and emergency service calls at customer sites. • Customer visits with the company's service vehicle. • Planning and prioritization of workshop tasks. • Support to the Service Manager in daily operations. • Temporarily expanded responsibilities during peak periods or absences. Employment Type: Permanent employment (with 6-month probationary period) Working Hours: Daytime, full-time (100%) Start Date: By agreement Work Location: Olsfors, just outside Borås. Background and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with experience in service, maintenance, or repair of construction machinery, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment. We would like to see that you have: • Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. • Good computer skills. • Valid driver's license (category B). • Strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Fork lift certification is a merit, as is experience in field service, welding, machine building, technical support, and customer contact. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a strong technical interest. You work independently when needed but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are quality-conscious, take own initiatives, and have a service-oriented approach where both customer and end result are in focus.
