Job Responsibilities As a service technician, you will work on service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Hammar's products. The work is primarily performed in the workshop in Olsfors where you work on both new and used machines as well as customer machines that come in for service and repair. The position can be adapted based on your experience and skills. For certain roles, field service at customer sites is also included, and if you have previous experience, there is an opportunity to take greater responsibility by supporting the Service Manager with planning and coordination. Examples of job responsibilities: • Service, maintenance, and repair of Hammar's side loaders. • Troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems. • Modifications, upgrades, and customer customizations. • Handling of warranty, complaints, and service matters. • Delivery inspections and functional testing. • Technical support to customers and colleagues. • Documentation of completed work. Depending on the position, the role may also include: • Field service and emergency service calls at customer sites. • Customer visits with the company's service vehicle. • Planning and prioritization of workshop tasks. • Support to the Service Manager in daily operations. • Temporary expanded responsibility during peak periods or absences. Employment Type: Permanent position (with 6 months probationary employment) Working Hours: Daytime, full-time (100%) Start Date: By agreement Work Location: Olsfors, just outside Borås. Background and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with experience in service, maintenance, or repair of construction equipment, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or other similar equipment. We would like you to have: • Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. • Good computer skills. • Driver's license (Category B). • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A forklift license is a merit, as is experience with field service, welding, machine building, technical support, and customer contact. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a strong interest in technology. You work independently when needed but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are quality-conscious, take your own initiative, and have a service-oriented work approach where both the customer and the end result are in focus.
