Job Responsibilities As a service technician, you will work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Hammar's products. The work is primarily carried out in the workshop in Olsfors where you work with both new and used machines as well as customer machines that come in for service and repair. The position can be adapted based on your experience and skills. Certain roles include field service at the customer's site, and if you have previous experience, there is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility by supporting the Service Manager with planning and coordination. Examples of work tasks: • Service, maintenance, and repair of Hammar's side loaders. • Troubleshooting in hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. • Rebuilds, upgrades, and customer customizations. • Management of warranty, complaint, and service matters. • Delivery inspections and functional testing. • Technical support to customers and colleagues. • Documentation of completed work. Depending on the position, the role may also include: • Field service and emergency service calls at customer sites. • Customer visits with the company's service vehicle. • Planning and prioritization of workshop tasks. • Support to the Service Manager in daily operations. • Temporary expanded responsibility during peak periods or absences. Employment Type: Permanent employment (with 6 months probation) Work Time: Daytime, full-time (100%) Start: By agreement Work Location: Olsfors, just outside Borås. Background and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with experience in service, maintenance, or repair of construction equipment, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment. We would like to see that you have: • Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings. • Good computer skills. • B-class driver's license. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A forklift certificate is a merit, as is experience with field service, welding, machine building, technical support, and customer contact. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a strong technical interest. You work independently when needed but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are quality-conscious, take your own initiative, and have a service-oriented approach where both the customer and the end result are in focus.
