Job Duties SlangExpress is Hydroscand's mobile hose service, where we manufacture and replace hoses on-site at the customer's location. As a service technician for SlangExpress, you will service customers on-site in the field with one of our service vans. The role also includes customer management and upselling. Your primary service area will be Karlskrona and the surrounding region, where you will work in close collaboration with other service technicians in the region. You will be based at our Karlskrona branch. You will work with preventive maintenance, inspections, and hydraulic hose manufacturing, as well as service and installation of centralized lubrication systems. Additional work at the branch may also occur. The service technician role is very varied where no two days are alike. The work can involve everything from replacing a broken hydraulic hose on an excavator in the field to preventive maintenance during planned shutdowns at industries. In the long term, the position will also include on-call work, where emergency callouts during evenings and weekends may occur during scheduled weeks. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a technical interest, preferably with a hydraulics and/or industrial technical background. Experience as a service technician, installer, or mechanic is a plus. To thrive in the role, you should be stress-tolerant, flexible, appreciate a varied daily routine, and be service-oriented. You should also be organized in your work approach and comfortable with both customer management and using computers as a work tool. A Class B driver's license and experience with tinkering and mechanics are required.
