We are now looking for a service technician for Rock Tools in Kiruna. Here you will have a varied and independent role where you work closely with some of Sweden's most exciting mining operations while becoming part of a global technology company at the forefront of innovation.
About the role
As a service technician, you are responsible for servicing, monitoring, and optimizing our drilling tools at customer sites. You work closely with operators, planners, and product specialists to ensure that the tools are used optimally and that customers achieve maximum productivity and operational reliability. The work is varied and combines practical work with analysis and problem-solving, both above and below ground.
Key responsibilities
Ensure availability of drilling tools at our customer sites
Forecast customer demand
Conduct product tests and monitor product performance
Inventory management
Create and manage invoice documentation
Build close collaboration with other team members and our sales department
Your background
We are looking for someone who thrives in an independent role where you take responsibility, plan your own work, and build long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.
You likely have:
High school education, preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent work experience
Technical or mechanical experience, preferably from the mining industry or related operations
Experience working with machines, equipment, or maintenance
Experience working in digital systems and reporting your work
Driver's license class B
Strong proficiency in Swedish and English
It is advantageous if you have:
Experience from underground mining
Experience with drilling rigs or drilling technology
Forklift and wheel loader operator certification
Knowledge of Finnish
