We are represented throughout Sweden and now we are looking for an additional service technician for our region around Norrtälje and Uppsala. You will get to work with the lifting industry's leading brands and become part of our strong team at Dematek. About you: You will be offered a position where you manage your work days and organize your work independently at our customers' locations. At our customers, you will work with preventive maintenance, service and assembly of our products such as spreader beams, chain hoists, pillar slewing cranes and much more related to lifting. We would like you to be an open person who enjoys extensive customer contact and likes to sell both our services and products. To help you in your work, you have access to a well-equipped service vehicle and you have many people to call when you need help. We are looking for someone who has: A strong interest in technology Previously worked as a service technician Electrical knowledge Experience with common administrative systems Class B driver's license Basic English language skills Swedish citizenship as certain work requires security-cleared background assessment It is a merit if you can do PLC programming. The willingness to learn is valued more than having completed the right training and background. Please explain why you are right for Dematek! The work is sometimes physically demanding and since it sometimes occurs at great heights, you need to obtain a valid fitness certificate for climbing with significant height differences. Work underground also occurs. We would like you to have a strong interest in technology, be thorough, service-oriented and enjoy customer contact. We require that you communicate fluently in Swedish. Other information We believe you are based around Norrtälje or Uppsala and you will work from home and have the opportunity to have your service vehicle as a company car. The position is full-time. Many of our customers require security clearance. Therefore, it is important that you have a clean criminal history and a stable and good financial background. With some customers, alcohol and drug tests may also be part of their security procedures.
