We are now looking for an experienced and self-directed Service Technician / Installer who wants to become part of a stable team and work with installation, commissioning, and service of technical solutions.
About the Position
As a service technician/installer at Diskomat, you will have a varied role working with installation, assembly, commissioning, service, and troubleshooting of technical systems.
You will, among other things, mount and install mechanical components, motors, pumps, and sensors, as well as work from technical drawings and electrical schematics. An important part of the role is being able to see the bigger picture of a system and systematically find the cause when something isn't working.
The role involves both work in the workshop in Sollentuna and on-site at customer locations. Travel occurs, both within Sweden and internationally, which gives you the opportunity to work in different environments and encounter new technical challenges.
You don't need to have worked specifically with Diskomat's products or have experience from this type of industry. What matters is that you have broad technical understanding and are accustomed to working practically with machinery or technical systems. You will also receive thorough internal introduction and training to learn the products and working methods.
We Are Looking for You If You
Have experience with service, installation, assembly, or troubleshooting of machinery and technical systems
Have good understanding of mechanics and preferably also electrical/mechatronics
Can read and understand electrical schematics
Have experience with, for example, motors, drive systems, pumps, sensors, or other technical equipment
Are accustomed to troubleshooting and understanding how different parts of a system work together
Are practically minded and enjoy solving technical problems
Communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Have good knowledge of English or a willingness to develop these skills
Are comfortable traveling for work, including internationally
Have a long-term interest in developing within a technical role
We would like to see that you have several years of experience from, for example, industrial service, maintenance, automation, process industry, packaging machinery, conveyor systems, or other machinery and plant engineering. You may also be a good fit if you are, for example, an automotive mechanic or electrician with a strong mechanical interest.
As a person, you are sociable, responsible, and self-directed. You have good attention to detail and can see what needs to be done even when there isn't a ready-made instruction in front of you. You enjoy variety and appreciate taking responsibility for ensuring that the work functions properly throughout.
