About the Position Funktionell Musik & Media Försäljnings AB is seeking a self-motivated and service-oriented technician for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of digital signage, media players, and related technical equipment. You will primarily work on-site at our corporate customers, where you install new equipment, troubleshoot existing systems, and ensure that solutions function as intended. Our installations are found in stores, hotels, restaurants, offices, and other public environments. The work is varied and suits you if you enjoy technology, practical work, and customer interaction. You need to be able to work independently, take responsibility for your service assignments, and communicate clearly and professionally with customers about the work performed. Responsibilities Your main responsibilities include: Installation and mounting of digital displays and media players. Installation and replacement of network equipment, routers, and cabling. Troubleshooting of image, audio, network, and connection problems. Configuration and deployment of media players and digital signage systems. Basic installation and troubleshooting of audio systems and AV equipment. Verification of power supply, signal paths, connections, and cabling. Preventive maintenance and replacement of defective equipment. Contact with technical support for more advanced troubleshooting. Documentation of completed work through service reports, photos, and checklists. Walkthrough of installation with the customer. Responsibility for tools, spare parts, and technical equipment used in the work. The position involves travel to customers and work at various locations. Occasional assignments may require overnight stays. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has strong technical interest and good practical problem-solving skills. Has experience with installation, service, or troubleshooting of technical equipment. Has basic knowledge of networks, Wi-Fi, internet connections, and IP-based equipment. Has good computer skills and learns new programs and technical systems easily. Can work independently and plan your work assignments. Is thorough, responsible, and solution-oriented. Has a professional and service-oriented approach. Can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Has basic knowledge of English. Holds a B-class driver's license. Meritorious Experience It is an advantage if you have experience with any of the following: Digital signage, information displays, or commercial displays. Media players and cloud-based publishing systems. Installation of TVs, displays, or wall mounts. AV technology, audio systems, amplifiers, and speakers. Networks, routers, SIM cards, 4G/5G, and wireless connections. Electrical, low-voltage, data, or cable installation. IT support, building technology, alarms, access systems, or similar technical areas. Field service and work at corporate customer sites. Time reporting and digital service or case management systems. Relevant work experience and documented technical interest can compensate for lack of formal education. Internal training in our products and systems is included.
