About the Role As a service technician, you primarily perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on DeLaval's various products such as milking systems and milking robots. You have your own customer base and work independently in DeLaval's sales tools, where you contact your customers to schedule meetings to perform service or simple assembly work. Part of the role also involves sales, where by analyzing customer needs you sell accessories, spare parts, and consumables. You work from home and serve southern Bohuslän and western Västergötland and surrounding areas. On-call work in a larger geographical area as well as travel and overnight stays are part of the position, and if needed you may need to work in neighboring locations. Your days consist of visiting customers in meetings that you schedule yourself. We would like to see you take your own initiative and visit your customers spontaneously to further strengthen customer relationships and perhaps also build relationships with new customers. To succeed in the position and become a long-term employee at DeLaval, you will receive comprehensive initial training at Hamra farm in Tumba, joint travel with experienced colleagues, and continuous further education. You have a great drive and work goal-oriented and independently with all tasks. The role of service technician involves a large amount of administrative work, for example regarding invoice management but also in the sales tool where you plan and book your own customer visits, so it is important that you have good computer skills. To succeed in the role, we believe you are practically inclined with work experience as an electrician, mechanic, or from similar technical roles. You have a solid technical interest that shows itself in your great interest in vehicles, automotive mechanics, and computers. Furthermore, you have high social skills, love personal interaction where you present yourself as the customer's personal service technician, and you value providing excellent service to the highest standard. Requirements for the Position High school education, preferably in electrical / technical programs or work experience in a relevant area for the position Great technical interest and a passion for providing customers good service Good computer skills Class B driver's license Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English Meriting for the Position Experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, and/or milk production Other Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
