About the Role
As a service technician, you will primarily perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on DeLaval's various products such as milking systems and milking robots. You have your own customer base and work independently in DeLaval's sales tools where you contact your customers to book meetings to, for example, carry out service or simple assembly. Part of the job also involves sales where, by analyzing the customer's needs, you sell accessories, spare parts, and consumables.
You will work from home and operate in southern Bohuslän and western Västergötland and surrounding areas. On-call work in a larger geographic area as well as travel and overnight stays occur in the position, and if needed you may need to work in surrounding locations. Your days will consist of visiting customers in meetings that you book yourself. We would like to see you also take your own initiative and visit your customers spontaneously to further strengthen customer relationships and perhaps also create relationships with new customers.
To succeed in the role and stay long-term at DeLaval, you will receive comprehensive basic training at Hamra farm in Tumba, joint travel with experienced colleagues, and continuous further training.
Your Profile
This is the job for you if you enjoy flexible work where you have great freedom to organize and plan your own days. You have a great deal of drive and work goal-oriented and independently with all tasks. The service technician role involves a large amount of administrative work, for example regarding invoice handling but also in the sales tool where you plan and book your own customer visits, so it is important that you have good computer skills.
To succeed in the role, we believe you are practically minded with work experience as an electrician, mechanic, or from similar technical roles. You have solid technical interest that is shown, for example, in your great interest in vehicles, vehicle mechanics, and computers. Furthermore, you have high social competence, love personal meetings where you sell yourself as the customer's personal service technician, and you value providing good service according to the highest standards.
Requirements for the Position
Upper secondary education, preferably in electrical / technical programs or work experience in a relevant field for the position
Great technical interest and passion for providing customers with good service
Good computer skills
Class B driver's license
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing and good knowledge of English
Meritorious for the Position
Experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, and/or milk production

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
Scope: Full-time.
