Do you have a technical interest, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable working in digital environments? Do you also want an independent role with freedom and responsibility, along with good opportunities for development? Then the service technician position at Corob might be right for you. We are now looking for a service technician who wants to take responsibility for their own service district in southern Sweden, based in Markaryd/Osby. About the role As a service technician at Corob, you work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated color-mixing machines. Our solutions are used daily by paint retailers and industrial customers to ensure fast and accurate color mixing. You are responsible for your own geographic service district and build long-term relationships with your customers. You work from home with a service vehicle and plan your work days yourself based on your service assignments. The role consists mainly of scheduled service visits, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer locations. You work independently, but always have close support from experienced colleagues and technical expertise via phone and Teams. After each assignment, you document your work in our business system. The position is mainly scheduled Monday–Friday from 08:00–17:00 and involves regular travel with approximately 20–30 nights away per year, though the number may vary depending on business needs. When needed, service technicians also support each other across regional borders and sometimes in the rest of the Nordic region. You are responsible for a service district covering southern Sweden, with a focus on the Osby, Markaryd, Hässleholm, and Helsingborg areas, as well as up toward Småland. The district also extends eastward with assignments as far as Västervik. We would prefer that you live somewhere within the district, for example near Osby, Markaryd, or Hässleholm. What do we offer you? At Corob, you get an independent and varied job where you are responsible for your own service district and have great freedom to plan your work days. At the same time, you become part of a tight-knit Nordic service team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday work. To give you the best conditions to succeed, we offer comprehensive onboarding with mentoring from an experienced service technician. You will also receive training at our office in Gothenburg before taking responsibility for your own district. You work from home with a fully equipped service vehicle and have access to a computer, phone, work clothes, and the tools needed to perform the work in the best way. We also offer wellness allowance, private health insurance, occupational pension, and regular health check-ups. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest and enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and practical work. You might currently work as a service technician, maintenance technician, mechanic, or workshop technician – or have another technical background where you have developed a good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, or electronics. You are responsible, organized, and comfortable with independent work where you plan your days and build long-term relationships with customers. Documentation and administration in digital systems are a natural part of your working method. The role involves regular travel and overnight stays, which means you need to be comfortable with mobile work and be flexible when needed. At the same time, you appreciate being part of a team where people support each other and work together to provide customers with the best possible service.
