We are now looking for a Service Technician who wants to take responsibility for their own service district in southern Sweden, based in Markaryd/Osby. About the Role As a Service Technician at Corob, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of our automated color mixing machines. Our solutions are used daily by paint retailers and industrial customers to ensure fast and accurate color mixing. You will be responsible for your own geographic service district and build long-term relationships with your customers. You will work from home with a service vehicle and plan your own workdays based on your service assignments. The role consists mainly of scheduled service visits, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer locations. You work independently, but always have close support from experienced colleagues and technical expertise via phone and Teams. After each assignment, you document your work in our business system. The position is primarily based Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 and involves regular travel with approximately 20–30 overnight stays per year, though the number may vary depending on operational needs. When needed, Service Technicians also support each other across regional boundaries and sometimes in the rest of Scandinavia. Your service district covers southern Sweden, with focus on the areas of Osby, Markaryd, Hässleholm, and Helsingborg, as well as toward Småland. The district also extends eastward with assignments as far as Västervik. We would prefer that you live somewhere within the district, for example near Osby, Markaryd, or Hässleholm. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working hands-on. You might currently work as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Auto Mechanic, or Workshop Technician – or have another technical background where you have developed a good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, or electronics. You are responsible, organized, and comfortable with independent work where you plan your days and build long-term customer relationships. Documentation and administration in digital systems are a natural part of your way of working. The role involves regular travel and overnight stays, which means you need to be comfortable with mobile work and flexible when needed. At the same time, you appreciate being part of a team where people support each other and work together to provide customers with the best possible service. Requirements • Experience with technical work, such as service, troubleshooting, or repair • B-class driver's license • Good digital skills and experience with Microsoft Office • Fluent Swedish, spoken and written • Good English, spoken and written Meritorious • Experience with electrical or electronic systems • Vehicle technical background • Experience with field service work at customer sites • Experience from the paint industry • Norwegian and/or Danish We look forward to receiving your application!
