Westmatic develops, manufactures, and sells equipment for heavy vehicle wash systems and purifies water for industry in a unique way. We now need to strengthen our service department and are looking for a service technician based in Arvika. About the Position
As a service technician, you work with service and maintenance of our wash systems at customer sites throughout Sweden and Norway. The work includes both preventive maintenance and emergency call-outs, where you troubleshoot, repair, and ensure that the systems function as they should. You will be based at our head office in Arvika and work largely independently at our customers' locations. The role involves great freedom under responsibility and varied work where you solve technical problems on site. Travel is a natural part of the job and you are typically on the road Monday–Friday, often with overnight stays in other locations.
The position includes among other things:
Service, troubleshooting, and repair of our wash systems
Preventive maintenance and technical support
Training and support for our customers
Identify customer needs and propose relevant products and services
Perform water sampling at our customer sites
Report completed work, hours worked, and documentation for invoicing
Who Are You?

Since the role involves substantial customer contact, it is important that you are communicative, service-oriented, and trustworthy. You have a professional demeanor and are driven by creating long-term relationships by understanding and meeting customer needs, preferably with the ambition to exceed their expectations.
We would like to see that you have:
High school education in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience working as a service technician, field service technician, industrial electrician, mechanic, or similar
Experience with control and automation technology is a merit
Experience in sales or customer-facing work is a plus
Good IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
B-class driving license
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, as you are an important representative and Westmatic's face to our customers. A trial period may be applied. The goal is for the employment to then transition to a permanent position.
