Vaggeryds Maskin AB is looking for a service technician who is passionate about repairing, installing, and troubleshooting machines. About the Role As a service technician, you will play an important role in our operations by ensuring that our machines and equipment function optimally. You will work on-site at our customers' locations and be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various types of machines, including elevators, cranes, and vehicle lifts. The role requires a high degree of independence, as you will often work alone at customer sites. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead small groups on assembly projects, which gives you a chance to develop your leadership skills. When there are no service calls to attend, you will assist with production in Vaggeryd. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we are looking for a person with the following qualifications: Good ability to diagnose faults and a passion for repairing machines. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a professional manner. Basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot electrical problems. Basic mechanical competence for troubleshooting and repair. Preferably experience in service or assembly within relevant areas. Ability to work independently and plan your work effectively. Driver's license category B. Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written. Key Responsibilities Your main tasks will include: Troubleshooting and repairing machines and equipment on-site at customer locations. Performing scheduled service and maintenance. Planning and organizing your own tasks to ensure efficient workflows. Leading small groups on assembly projects, including planning and coordination. Documenting completed work and reporting to management. Collaborating with colleagues and customers to ensure high customer satisfaction.
