As part of Gonvarri Material Handling, we have both local and international presence, with our Swedish headquarters and central warehouse in Göteborg. About the Role As a Service Technician, you'll work with service, assembly, and installation at customer sites. You plan and drive your own assignments with significant personal responsibility and maintain close communication with both customers and management. The role is varied and suits you if you enjoy solving problems on-site, taking own initiatives, and building trust in customer interactions. With a business-minded approach, you see opportunities based on customer needs. You'll also be an important part of the team, where you support and share your knowledge with colleagues when needed. You will, among other things: Perform service, assembly, and installation according to given directives Manage and drive your own customer assignments Handle material orders and report completed work Be the responsible technician and contact person for the customer Participate in customer meetings, coordination, and planning Identify opportunities for upselling and business development When needed, prepare simple cost estimates and quotes What We Offer You With us, you'll be part of an open and positive work environment where responsibility with freedom characterizes the day-to-day. We're looking for someone who is practical, responsible, and enjoys working independently. You're solution-oriented and thorough, take own initiatives, and have the ability to plan and structure your work efficiently. Since the role involves considerable customer contact, it's important that you have good communication skills and feel confident representing the company at customer sites. We'd like to see that you have: At least upper secondary education, preferably with technical focus within industry, vehicles, electrical work, or similar Several years of work experience as a service technician, mechanic, installer, or similar technical field work Class B driver's license is a requirement Since the work involves travel, it's important that you're comfortable with a mobile workday and meeting customers at different locations in the region. Other Details Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time Placement: Region Väst with Göteborg as the base Work hours: Monday – Friday 07:00–16:00, with on-call duty approximately every fourth week until 18:00.
