About the Position As a Service Specialist at MITAB, you are responsible for service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of cremation furnaces, flue gas cleaning systems, and associated equipment at our customers' sites. Operations are based in Forsbacka outside Gävle, but this specific role is positioned in southern Sweden to create proximity to customers, which reduces travel and response times. The geographic work area covers Götaland and Denmark. Working closely with and support from the company's technicians and engineers, you operate at the customer site and ensure functional, safe, and efficient facilities. This means that periodically you must be prepared to stay overnight at other locations, your personal situation allows for this, and you are comfortable working independently and directly at the customer site. Given varying needs and scope of services, the starting point is flexible working hours that vary from week to week. We work in time during service trips, and weekends are normally free at your home location. Above all, you are dedicated to understanding and solving technical challenges and always leaving a well-functioning facility behind when you return home after an assignment. Your Main Responsibilities · Planned and corrective maintenance on cremation furnaces and flue gas cleaning systems · Troubleshooting and advanced diagnostics on electrical, control, and process systems · Commissioning and function testing of newly installed facilities · Preventive maintenance and inspection of burners, control systems, and filter equipment · Documentation of performed service activities and deviations · Close collaboration with the design and project department on more complex matters · Direct customer contact and technical consultation · Spare parts handling and ordering in connection with service assignments · Planning of service visits in consultation with customers and team colleagues What We Offer · A varied daily routine with significant responsibility and direct customer contact · Opportunity to work with advanced and technical facilities · Thorough introduction and continuous professional development · Short decision-making paths and competent colleagues · Opportunity to work in time and influence longer periods of consecutive time off About You We are looking for a person who is solution-oriented, driven, handy, communicative, and generally positive. You have experience with service, maintenance, or troubleshooting of industrial facilities, process equipment, or machinery with electrical and control systems. Competencies: · Post-secondary education in electrical, automation, mechatronics, or equivalent, or relevant equivalent experience · Practical experience troubleshooting electrical, control, and automation systems · Good understanding of control and regulation technology as well as process equipment · Knowledge of machine safety and relevant safety regulations · Good knowledge of Swedish and English · Good computer skills for applications such as Word, Excel · Class B driver's license Meritorious · Previous work as a service technician or operations technician in process industry or energy facilities · Experience with PLC systems, preferably Siemens · Welding competence · Experience with flue gas cleaning, filter technology, and combustion processes · Experience working in crematoria or similar facilities Application Send your application with CV, cover letter, and other relevant certificates and grades to: [email protected] Selection and contact are ongoing.
