Elder care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life.
At the care and residential home Prästsjögården there are 70 apartments distributed across six units. Prästsjögården is located in the beautiful sculpture park in the Umedalsområdet area, approximately 7 km from Umeå city center, which invites outdoor activities in a beautiful environment. Each unit has a large patio or balcony that is used as soon as the weather permits.
We are now hiring two service resources!
Your responsibilities
To allow our nursing staff to focus more on care, we are looking for someone interested in handling the various tasks that are part of our care and residential homes.
Work tasks may include:
Cleaning residents' rooms and common areas such as kitchens, staff rooms, corridors, etc.
Laundry
Ordering/receiving goods and distributing them
Kitchen and food handling, meal service, table setting and dishwashing
Social activities
Minor maintenance tasks
Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday.
About you
As a person, you have the ability to prioritize and work independently while being thorough and service-oriented in your work. You enjoy interacting with people during your workday and collaborate easily with colleagues. Work as a service resource involves varied and sometimes physically demanding tasks, including certain heavy work, which requires the ability to handle these tasks safely and ergonomically. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements
Good knowledge of Swedish language to communicate with residents, family members and colleagues
Meriting
Education/experience in facility services
The home has pets and smoking occurs, so you should not be allergic.
