Holmsund Care and Residential Home is centrally located in Holmsund with direct proximity to a health center, pharmacy, and grocery store. We offer excellent outdoor space opportunities thanks to balconies and patios as well as a shared courtyard. The building has three floors and accommodates 59 apartments. Holmsund Care and Residential Home consists of six units: three care and residential units, one short-term unit, one service housing unit, and one care and residential unit located in Obbola. Your Tasks To allow our care staff to focus more on direct care, we are looking for someone interested in handling the auxiliary tasks that also exist at our care and residential homes. Tasks may include: Cleaning residents' rooms and common areas such as kitchens, staff rooms, corridors, etc. Laundry Ordering/receiving goods and distributing them Kitchen and food handling, meal service, table setting, and dishwashing Minor maintenance tasks About You As a person, you have the ability to prioritize and work independently while being thorough and service-oriented in your work. You enjoy interacting with people during your workday and collaborate easily with others. Work as a service worker is an active role involving heavy lifting and transfers on a daily basis; good physical fitness is therefore required to manage the tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements Good Swedish language skills to communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues Merit Cleaning or care and residential experience or education Cleaning experience Experience working at a care and residential home Pets may be present at the workplace, so you should not be allergic. Other Information Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday. The position includes 37 hours/week, with work on public holidays if they fall during the week, but no weekends.
