About the Operation
Regionservice's mission is to lead, deliver, develop, and streamline service operations in collaboration with activities within Region Dalarna, working with the region's municipalities or through partnerships with external partners. We do this within service areas such as facility management, food & meals, logistics, facilities maintenance, and laundry. Regionservice has approximately 460 employees and generates approximately 350 MSEK in revenue. The operation is quality certified according to ISO 9001 and environmentally certified according to ISO 14001.
We now offer a temporary position from 2026-09-14 through 2027-01-31 as a service worker.
Job Responsibilities
As a service worker in Care-Related Services, you will work alongside care staff on our care units in close contact with patients. Your tasks will include various service duties around the patient, such as regular cleaning, terminal and infection cleaning, and food & meal management. We work to develop our service operations to further support care staff. The work can at times be physically demanding.
Evening and weekend shifts occur.
Qualifications

You are responsible, have a willingness to learn different areas within the service field, and thrive in work that includes many varied tasks. Planning and flexibly switching between different work activities and tasks comes naturally to you. You strive to perform careful work with satisfied customers in focus. Collaboration and good relationships with your colleagues are important to you in your daily work. You understand that we are each other's work environment and that we all need to contribute to create a pleasant daily life together at the workplace.
Requirements:
The position involves work tasks that according to occupational health and safety regulations require you to be at least 18 years old
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
Good computer skills
Experience from service professions such as hotel and restaurant, facilities maintenance, care and health services, or equivalent as assessed by the employer
Or
Service worker
Upper secondary education in areas such as hotel and restaurant, tourism, care and health services, or equivalent as assessed by the employer
Merits:
SRY or PRYL training
B-class driver's license
