About the Position: As a delivery associate for Newport Premium Delivery, you ensure that our furniture is delivered and installed at the customer's home in a safe, professional, and first-class manner. You are responsible for handling furniture with care, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition, and assembling and placing it correctly in the customer's home. The role involves driving, practical work, and close customer contact. Therefore, you need to be equally comfortable behind the wheel as you are in meetings with people. You will be an important representative for Newport and ensure that the customer's experience maintains the highest standard – from delivery to finished furnishing. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver furniture to customers safely and efficiently. - Handle and transport furniture with great care. - Assemble and place furniture in the customer's home. - Remove transport packaging and, if needed, handle furniture exchanges. - Provide customers with professional, personalized, and service-oriented treatment. - Coordinate deliveries with warehouse, customer service, and other relevant departments. - Assist with other common warehouse tasks as needed. - Contribute to developing and improving Newport Premium Delivery. Qualifications: - Driver's license (Class B). Class C is a plus. - Good physical condition and ability to handle heavy lifting. - A responsible and solution-oriented approach with a strong focus on service. - Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Experience with furniture delivery, transport, assembly, or similar work is a plus but not required.
