We are now looking for a Service Engineer based in Örebro About the Position You will be part of a team of colleagues responsible for operations and operational quality of our own and our customers' facilities within the Service Group area East/West. The work includes, among other things: · Preventive and corrective maintenance on TV and radio antennas with associated transmission systems and backup power systems including batteries and generators. · Configuration and troubleshooting of transmission networks within DWDM or radio link networks. · Work with critical infrastructure such as the Rakel network. · Maintenance of our own and customers' buildings and infrastructure. The role is broad and exciting with freedom within responsibility. About You We are looking for someone with a background in a technical profession or similar educational background. You have a strong ability to drive and solve the tasks you face. With us, you will be part of a dynamic group with good collaboration and strong community spirit. Service East/West is responsible for operation and maintenance of technical equipment from the west coast to the east coast in a band across Vänern and Vättern. Working hours are primarily daytime, but the position involves work at other locations where overnight stays may be required. On-call duty and work on evenings/weekends may also occur. We are looking for someone who: Is ambitious and has a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving. You are comfortable working with computers and have basic technical understanding as well as curiosity to learn more about IP networks, data centers, mobile networks, TV and radio networks, as well as fiber and transmission networks. Formal Requirements: · You hold a B driver's license. · You can pass a medical examination and training for work at height, as a tower certificate is required for this position. · Employment requires passing an approved drug and alcohol test and an approved background check as well as approved security clearance with record check, as the position involves security classification. Because of this, Swedish or Nordic citizenship is also required. As the role often involves working alone, it is important that you are someone who can take own initiative and work independently. Of course, you also identify with Teracom Samhällsnät's three core values - Responsibility, Courage, and Innovation It is an advantage if you have: · Practical knowledge of radio links and radio technology. · Post-secondary education with a technical focus. · Experience with work at height. · Experience as an electrician and practical experience with installations and service of 48V systems, alarm systems, or backup power systems. · Hold a BE, C, or CE driver's license and/or all-terrain driving experience.
