JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Property Unit within the Technical Office is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's properties. Together we ensure functional, safe, and sustainable buildings for operations, residents, and visitors. Through long-term and systematic work, we strive to optimize properties' function, energy efficiency, and lifespan. The Operations Unit is part of Property, and we have a special responsibility for the daily operation and ongoing maintenance of our properties. Here works a dedicated team consisting of an operations manager, energy controller, caretakers, property caretakers, painters, carpenters, and operations technicians. Together we ensure that our properties function as they should every day. In continuing to develop and quality assure our operations, we are now strengthening the operations group with a service electrician. In your role as service electrician, you will have an important function in the daily work with operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the properties' electrical systems. You work closely with your colleagues in the operations group as well as in close collaboration with property managers and the electrical operations manager, who also serves as our electrician for compliance. The role involves many contact points and you will be an important part in ensuring the operation of our facilities. Your job tasks will include: • performing service, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical installations in the municipality's properties and facilities • working with preventive and planned maintenance to ensure reliable operations • participating in minor renovations and new constructions as well as adaptations of electrical systems • handling and addressing fault reports, both independently and together with colleagues • ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and electrical safety requirements • collaborating with the operations group, property managers, and external contractors • contributing to developing routines, working methods, and documentation within the electrical field • participating in work on energy efficiency and sustainable solutions in our properties and facilities QUALIFICATIONS In your role as service electrician, you are expected to be able to work independently with operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our properties' electrical systems and have the will to contribute to a safe and well-functioning property environment. We are therefore looking for you who: • are a trained electrician • have several years of work experience as a service electrician • have a B-driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle • have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • have good general digital competence Your work experience means you can confidently handle both acute fault remediation and planned maintenance efforts. You are also accustomed to documenting your work and handling cases in digital systems, which is a natural part of our daily operations. As a service electrician with us, you encounter a wide variety of environments ranging from schools and care facilities to office spaces for both internal and external tenants. We therefore consider it a merit if you have work experience from similar environments, where requirements for safety, structure, and professional conduct have been central. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The role involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues, tenants, and external actors. To thrive in the role, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish. You plan and structure your work efficiently, while having the ability to adapt when conditions change. Since the workday often involves variety and many contact points, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and appreciate working together with others. You have a responsive and solution-oriented approach, where you meet colleagues, tenants, and external actors in a service-oriented and professional manner.
