Job Description
Do you want to lead a service organization where technology, people, and customer value truly come together? Elektroverkstaden AB is now seeking a Service Manager who wants to take a central role in developing the business further—close to customers, close to employees, and close to daily operations. We welcome your application!
As Service Manager, you will have a central, operations-focused role with responsibility for leading and developing Elektroverkstaden's service organization. You have overall responsibility for creating a safe, efficient, and customer-oriented operation where quality, profitability, and employee engagement go hand in hand.
You will lead approximately 15 field and workshop employees, supported by two supervisors. With a coaching and present leadership style, you create engagement, participation, and good conditions for your team's continued development while maintaining an understanding of the operation's daily challenges.
The role combines strategic responsibility with operational presence. As a member of the management team, you contribute to the company's long-term development while overseeing planning and coordination of service assignments, personnel and workplace matters, financial follow-up, and development of work methods and processes. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and drive the business forward, while remaining an approachable leader who is present in operations and contributes where needed.
An important part of the role is further developing service offerings, service agreements, and future service concepts in close collaboration with other parts of the organization. The role also includes customer visits, warranty and goodwill matters, and development of the company's maintenance programs. You will play a key role in strengthening customer experience, building long-term relationships, and contributing to Elektroverkstaden's continued success.
The position is based in Kalmar and you report directly to the CEO.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a genuine interest in technology, leadership, and business development. You have experience from industrial, service, or maintenance operations and are accustomed to leading people toward common goals. You are equally comfortable in strategic discussions as in operational matters and have the ability to translate ideas into practical results.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a technical education at the college or university level, or equivalent experience from working life. You have experience leading and developing employees and a good understanding of economics, budgeting, and operational follow-up. Furthermore, you have a strong customer focus, good communication skills, and thrive in a role with many points of contact. Good computer skills and a valid driver's license are required.
As a person, you are a confident and inspiring leader who creates trust and engagement. You work methodically and solution-oriented, take responsibility, and drive matters forward with both business acumen and great commitment. At the same time, you are unpretentious, relationship-focused, and have the ability to build long-term relationships with both customers and employees.
