Service Assistant for Service Unit, Hourly Temporary Position

Nine employees work here with main tasks in purchasing and cleaning. Heading into autumn, we need to recruit a couple of new hourly temporary staff. WORK TASKS Your work tasks consist of grocery shopping and cleaning for people living in ordinary housing who have approved services. When you and your colleagues have shopped, you deliver the goods to the individual's home, usually in the morning and late morning. In the afternoon, the work mainly involves cleaning assignments where you either perform this alone or together with a colleague, depending on the type of cleaning to be done. The Service Unit operates from Humlet in central Mariestad and your work area covers the entire municipality with service vehicles used for the tasks. Working hours are daytime Monday - Friday, 07:30-16:30 including light holidays, i.e., red days falling on Monday-Friday. We have close collaboration with care staff in the home care groups and as support in your work you also have a planner who schedules the services. The position we are now seeking involves hourly temporary work, meaning you will be called in during regular staff absences. QUALIFICATIONS To be eligible for the position of service assistant, you must have completed upper secondary education. Previous work experience in elderly care and from service occupations is highly desirable. As a person, we see that you are outgoing and solution-oriented, enjoy working in a team, and have an eye for details. Through your positive energy, you spread joy to both your colleagues and the residents. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing. This is because many of your work tasks involve receiving instructions and because communication is important between you, colleagues, and individual residents so that tasks are performed correctly. Since the work tasks involve a lot of lifting and carrying of shopping bags as well as cleaning, we expect you to be in good physical condition. A B driver's license is a requirement. When you submit your application, we want a CV where your previous qualifications are evident. You can omit the cover letter; instead, you will answer some selection questions. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and good references. Before a job offer, we will request the following extract from the criminal record register: "Elderly or persons with disabilities".
