We are seeking a Service Worker for Åter-Bruket!
Åter-Bruket is a municipal second-hand operation with two main purposes: to contribute to environmental sustainability through reuse and to promote social sustainability through labor market initiatives. In the shop, donated and functional items are received and utilized, and a large portion of what is donated is repaired, renovated, and restored before being sold again.
Your Work Tasks
As a service worker, you will work with cash register operations and provide excellent customer service. You are responsible for receiving and handling incoming goods, performing basic workshop tasks, and ensuring that the shop is always clean, well-organized, and welcoming. In this role, you are expected to be able to lift and move items such as furniture, cardboard boxes, bags of textiles, books, porcelain, or other goods.
About You
We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and preferably has previous experience in customer service. You have completed upper secondary education and have a good ability to express yourself clearly and correctly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A B driver's license for manual transmission is required. It is also desirable if you have cash register experience.
To thrive and succeed in this role, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances.
About the Position
This is a fixed-term full-time position from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. Working hours are during daytime.
