Do you want to be part of developing how IT creates value for operations? We are now looking for a Service Manager for the IT department. This is a new role and represents an important investment to strengthen the support between IT and operations. You will be a key person in developing our working methods, creating clearer service deliveries, and ensuring that the organization's needs are translated into sustainable and efficient IT solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as Service Manager, you will work at the intersection between IT and operations. Your ability to understand the organization's needs and translate them into IT requirements is crucial for success in this assignment. Equally important is being able to explain technical conditions in a way that is comprehensible to the organization. You will work cross-functionally and serve as a bridge between different stakeholders within the municipality. The role involves both addressing a current need and contributing to developing future working methods within service management and digitalization. A large part of your work involves creating structure, clarity, and understanding around the municipality's IT services. You are responsible for ensuring that services meet operational needs based on technical conditions, economy, legislation, and security requirements. You drive the work to clarify IT's offering and contribute to increased customer value. The first year will be characterized by development and establishment of new working methods. You will therefore have an important role in creating structure, building trust, and getting the organization to work according to common processes and goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a technical background in, for example, client management, networking, server operations, or other related IT activities. We see that you have experience working closely with operations and are experienced in translating needs into concrete solutions. You have at least three years of experience in some form of leadership position as well as solid experience with service deliveries, digitalization, and operations development with good results. Fundamentally, you have post-secondary education in IT or equivalent competence that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge and experience with frameworks such as ITIL, PM3, or ISO 27001. As a person, you are communicative, structured, and driven. You find it easy to create trusting relationships and can adapt your communication to the recipient and situation.
