About the Position This is an as-needed hourly position with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours vary and are adapted to the restaurant's opening hours. During certain shifts, you work independently and are expected to take significant responsibility for daily operations and guest experience. Your Main Responsibilities We're looking for someone with good or some serving experience. You enjoy providing service to people and want to work with us and develop your skills. We value a positive, ambitious, and responsible attitude, and important qualities are first and foremost a willingness to work, honesty, and a curious approach to the challenges you face. We'd love if you have a great interest in food and beverages, plus: Take care of guests at tables and at the bar Activelyguide guests with food and beverage recommendations Provide excellent service to both guests and colleagues Handle orders at the register and coordinate with other colleagues Open and close the restaurant with colleagues, including dishwashing and cleaning About You We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience serving in a restaurant or café Can handle Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing Is at least 20 years old, as the position requires independent work on certain shifts and may involve the role of serving manager under applicable alcohol regulations Meritorious Requirements Barista knowledge and experience operating espresso machines Bar knowledge Important Personal Qualities Are cheerful, warm, and vibrant and bring energy and enthusiasm to the team Are driven, curious, and passionate; take initiative and are motivated by development and continuous improvement Have genuine hospitality and take responsibility for the guest's experience – from the first hello to the lasting impression Have a genuine interest in food, beverages, and service and want to exceed guest expectations Are flexible, unpretentious, and helpful; you see it as a matter of course to support colleagues and collaborate across departmental boundaries when needed We Offer An inspiring workplace at one of Sweden's most iconic entertainment destinations with excellent development opportunities, engaged colleagues, and generous benefits throughout the group. Restaurang Papas is an à la carte restaurant right by the beach in Båstad, open year-round, with summer months being peak season. The kitchen prepares food from scratch using local ingredients with inspiration from the Mediterranean; the wine list is extensive and the atmosphere is personal and cozy. Mamas Italian is an Italian meeting place in Båstad harbor. Coffee, snacks, and lunch are served in a warm atmosphere. During the summer months, simple summer dinners are also offered. Pepes Bodega is a relaxed restaurant and bar where summer never ends. The menu features pizza, burgers, and small dishes from all around the world. Beverages are served in pitchers with playful touches and service is quick. At Pepes Bodega, it's vacation all year round!
