About the position: Your ultimate role as a server at O'Learys Lund is to ensure our guests have a fantastic experience when they visit us. This means maintaining constant focus on our guests, welcoming and attending to each guest, being attentive and helpful, and professionally addressing guest requests! You will seat guests, present the menu and take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide excellent service throughout their visit with us.

Your responsibilities will include:
Serve food and beverages according to service sequence
Greet and welcome guests with a smile, seat them at tables or direct them to activities in the absence of a host
Responsible for presenting the menu and offerings to guests
Ensure guests receive the best possible service and overall experience
Take orders via iPad and deliver accurate checks to the kitchen
Follow alcohol regulations and check ID for guests under 25 years old
Process payments from guests and provide receipts upon completion of sale
Alert the manager or security if a guest has consumed too much alcohol or creates an inappropriate atmosphere
Actively drive sales of add-ons and upselling such as dipping sauces, appetizers, beverages, and desserts
Inform our guests about our activities and other offerings in a friendly and welcoming manner
Responsible for setting up and preparing the venue before opening/closing and carefully follow service checklists and manuals
Clear tables, empty and clean them, collect dishes and waste, and place items in designated areas
Ensure service stations are well-organized and stocked
Support all areas of the restaurant such as dishwashing, greeting, activities, kitchen, and bar
Return iPads, registers, and card terminals in good condition and ensure registers balance
Desired experience and qualities:
At least one year of work experience as serving staff in a restaurant/bar and good cash handling experience
Fluent spoken and written Swedish and good English skills
At least high school diploma
Relationship-builder, stress-resistant, and enjoys working as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Problem solver with a focus on creating a great guest experience
Passion for food, beverages, sports, and people

Hours: 6h/w 15% - This position is perfect for you if you've worked in a restaurant before but are now studying in Lund. There are good opportunities for extra shifts during peak season.
Work schedule: Evening shifts, by agreement.
