About the Position In the role of senior vehicle assembly technician for our client in the automotive industry, you will work with advanced mechanical tasks related to assembly, adjustment, and customization of heavy vehicles. The work includes, among other things, assembly of components such as cranes, flatbeds, and snow chains, as well as mechanical adjustments to ensure that vehicles meet high requirements for functionality, quality, and operational safety. You are expected to take significant responsibility in your daily work and contribute your experience with more complex tasks. The role also involves supporting colleagues on the team and contributing to a more efficient and quality-conscious work approach. The work is conducted in close collaboration with other functions within the operation, while you have the ability to work independently. This is a full-time fixed-term position. The work will be conducted on evening shifts after summer, but training and onboarding will take place during daytime. About You We are looking for someone with solid and documented experience in mechanical work within vehicles or industry, and who enjoys working practically with advanced assembly. You are thorough, quality-conscious, and have a structured work approach. Furthermore, you are a team player who collaborates well with others, while also being self-driven and taking responsibility for your work tasks. You have a technical interest and a good understanding of how various components work together in heavy vehicles. Your effort, experience, and willingness to contribute to the team are crucial in this role, and great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements for the Position Extensive experience as a vehicle assembly technician or mechanic Good machine and tool skills Very good knowledge of Swedish in speaking and writing Meritorious Class C driver's license High school grades in mathematics and English are highly meritorious.
