About the Position In the role of senior vehicle assembly technician for our client in the automotive industry, you will work with advanced mechanical tasks related to assembly, adjustment, and customization of heavy vehicles. The work includes, among other things, assembly of components such as cranes, truck beds, and snow chains, as well as mechanical adjustments to ensure that vehicles meet high requirements for functionality, quality, and operational reliability. You are expected to take significant independent responsibility in your daily work and contribute your experience to more complex tasks. The role also involves being able to provide support to colleagues on the team and contribute to a more efficient and quality-conscious approach. The work is conducted in close collaboration with other functions within the operation, while you have the ability to work independently. This is a full-time fixed-term position. The work will be scheduled for evening shifts after summer, but training and orientation will take place during daytime, starting immediately. About You We are looking for someone with solid and documented experience in mechanical work within vehicles or industry, and who thrives in a role where you work practically with advanced assembly. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a structured work approach. Furthermore, you are a team player who collaborates well with others, while also being self-driven and taking responsibility for your tasks. You have a technical interest and a good understanding of how various components work together in heavy vehicles. Your effort, experience, and willingness to contribute to the team are decisive in this role, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Requirements for the Position Extensive experience working as a vehicle assembly technician or mechanic Good machine and tool skills Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Merits C-class driver's license High school grades in mathematics and English are highly beneficial.
