Right now we are developing the next generation of private cloud platform based on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), while establishing an AI workshop for both internal and external use. About the role We are now looking for a senior virtualization expert who wants to design, build, and further develop a platform that makes a real difference for the public sector. You will be part of the Tax Agency's Technical Services Department (STT) with approximately 500 employees. You will join a specialist team within servers, virtualization, and storage responsible for our platforms. In this role you will work close to the platform's core and have an important position in driving technical development forward. Design, implementation, and further development of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Build and further develop our private cloud platform for multi-tenant delivery Drive automation and standardization of platform services Collaborate closely with other technical areas (storage, networking, security, backup, and platform) Contribute to architecture, technical decisions, and long-term development We offer excellent vacation and occupational pension benefits as well as benefits for parents. In this job you should: have good collaboration skills, be helpful, and have good interpersonal skills independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results have good problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make scope decisions express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish, which means that you express yourself in a simple, clear, and pedagogical way in both speech and writing You should also have: multiple years of current and relevant work experience with VMware-based virtualization in large environments multiple years of current and relevant work experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) current experience with business-critical infrastructure current experience and understanding of private cloud architecture and platform thinking It is desirable if you have experience with VMware NSX. It is also desirable if you have experience with networking, container technology, and Infrastructure as Code as well as Disaster Recovery and resiliency design.
