Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments. Decisions and payments happen digitally, and therefore the IT department's mission at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is absolutely critical. The IT department consists of approximately 1,400 employees and several hundred consultants across eight IT offices in Sweden. To lead the IT department, there is a CIO Office where advisory services, business and financial management, legal IT expertise, and the office for coordinated secure government IT operations are consolidated. Interested in the external environment, driving improvements and establishing structures As a business development manager within the CIO Office, you will contribute to various assignments of the IT organization. The role involves close collaboration with many different parties in the business. There is considerable room for improvement initiatives. You will participate in the IT department's communication with the external environment with a focus on packaging messages, reports, investigations and materials for management. You should therefore be pedagogical, see patterns, be able to visualize complex contexts, enjoy communicating and have excellent command of the Swedish language. Your work tasks will largely involve developing society together with others, by working in collaboration with our IT department, other parts of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the rest of Government Sweden to contribute to simplification and progress toward established goals. Your assignments will range from improving IT operations to contributing to government consultation responses to the Prime Minister's Office. In this role, you will gather information, analyze, compile and make recommendations for decisions, as well as implement, follow up, adjust and contribute to organizational learning. To succeed in the role, you need to be persuasive, persistent and unpretentious to achieve results and have the ability to choose the right approach to successfully lead without being a manager. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have strong security awareness. It is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility.
