Assignment: Senior Business Architect in IT – Financial Sector We are seeking a senior business architect in IT for an assignment within the financial sector. About the Assignment The assignment focuses on IT infrastructure and IT-related services, with the purpose of developing and clarifying the business architecture in this area. The goal is to strengthen the organization's ability to deliver effective and user-oriented IT services. Several development initiatives are underway in the IT infrastructure area with a focus on efficiency improvements, enhanced processes, and better experiences for internal customers and users. In this role, you will contribute to mapping and developing processes, capabilities, ways of working, and target vision for future delivery of infrastructure services. In parallel, a major initiative is underway regarding the implementation of a modern ITSM platform. Here, you will contribute by identifying and structuring business needs, formulating business requirements, and establishing a clear business architecture. Responsibilities Develop and document business architecture within IT infrastructure and IT-related services Map, analyze, and further develop processes and business capabilities Create and further develop target architecture and vision for the business area Identify business needs and translate them into clear requirements Contribute to the implementation and further development of an ITSM platform Work with processes, workflows, and ways of working related to IT infrastructure services Independently drive architecture and business matters from analysis to concrete results Coordinate needs and perspectives from multiple business areas and stakeholders Identify dependencies and ensure that changes support the organization's overall goals Collaborate with IT architects, business representatives, product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders Contribute to creating structure and clarity in complex change initiatives Document architecture, processes, requirements, and target vision in a structured and usable manner Required Qualifications Substantial experience as a business architect Experience with business architecture in IT Good understanding of IT development and IT infrastructure Experience participating in the implementation of an ITSM platform from a business perspective Experience describing and developing business processes Experience with requirements work and requirements analysis Experience creating target architectures, target vision, and roadmaps Experience working in complex IT environments with many dependencies Ability to independently structure and drive architecture work Experience working cross-functionally with both business and IT Ability to work methodically, structurally, and solution-oriented Experience with agile and/or other established development and change methods Desirable Qualifications Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform Experience with business architecture in IT infrastructure Experience with process development in IT Service Management Experience with major transformation and change initiatives Experience from larger organizations with complex IT infrastructure Experience with established frameworks and methods for business architecture Experience from the financial sector or other regulated activities Personal Qualities Independent and initiative-taking Structured and methodical Analytical and solution-oriented Comfortable with complex tasks where all answers are not given from the start Accustomed to handling multiple simultaneous changes and dependencies Good collaboration skills and communicative Ability to create structure and get different stakeholders to work toward the same goal Confident in independently driving matters while working closely with business and IT Thrives in high-pace environments with extensive change work
