The main task of the Easier Business unit is to build up and support the Simplification Council's work in developing concrete proposals to the government for easier business operations and reduced regulatory burden. Investigators at the unit handle and examine simplification proposals received from the business sector. These investigations are largely similar to work carried out within government public investigations. About the Position In the role of senior investigator, your main responsibilities include qualified investigation and analysis work that will form the basis for government proposals on simplification measures and simpler and better regulations for businesses. You are also expected to take responsibility for developing the unit's work processes and methods, as well as provide support to other investigators in the unit. Your tasks include: - Investigating and developing simplification proposals including legislative changes, corresponding to reports in government investigations. - Conducting impact assessments, socioeconomic evaluations, and assessments of proposal implementation feasibility. - Engaging in dialogue with representatives from the business sector, academia, and public sector related to various simplification proposals. - Initiating and taking responsibility for developing the unit's work processes and methods. - Acting as coach/mentor to other investigators in the unit. The work is carried out primarily with colleagues within the Easier Business unit, but also with support from other units within Tillväxtverket, contracted consultants, and other stakeholders in the business and public sectors who need to participate in developing a proposal. Your duty station is: Stockholm We are Looking For: - University or college degree equivalent to at least three years of studies in political science, economics, law, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. - At least five years of relevant experience in qualified investigation and analysis work. - At least one year of experience working with the legislative process, such as investigating new or amended legislation in a government investigation or agency. - Excellent Swedish in speech and writing. The Following are Meriting: - Experience working in public administration in the area of simplification for businesses or citizens. For example, work with designing new regulations, simplifying application of regulations, or work with impact analysis of how regulations affect businesses and society. - Experience and knowledge within one or more legislative areas that significantly affect businesses. - Experience with project or assignment management. - Experience working at the Government Offices. - Experience with operational development regarding methods and work processes. - Knowledge of developing impact assessments and various methods for this, such as needs analysis, benefit analysis, and impact analysis. - Research education from university or college in political science, economics, law, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
