Professionals Nord is seeking, in collaboration with Estrella, a maintenance technician with experience in the industry and rotating production. This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord but you will be employed directly by Estrella. As a maintenance technician, you will work on a rotating 5-shift schedule that includes day, evening, and night shifts.
What you will do:
As a maintenance technician at Estrella, no two days are the same. With your knowledge of automation, you will perform continuous maintenance on production equipment, manufacture parts and equipment as needed, perform preventive maintenance, and report completed work according to procedures. You will also ensure the function of the building and its subsystems, such as ventilation and boiler.
Furthermore, you will participate in improvement projects, ensure that drawings and documentation are kept updated when changes are made, and conduct root cause analyses when breakdowns occur. Other examples of your tasks will be to:
Plan future work and maintain contact with suppliers
Participate in development projects as a representative of the maintenance department
Train production personnel in the operation of equipment
Ensure that order and cleanliness are maintained within the maintenance department's areas
Actively evaluate occupational health and safety aspects of equipment and work towards positive development in the work environment area
We are looking for you who:
Have upper secondary education/vocational education/university education in maintenance
Have work experience in maintenance work within industry
Have very good knowledge in both mechanics and automation
Have good computer skills and very good knowledge of Office programs
Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
Have basic knowledge of English
Have good technical understanding and a strong interest in technology
If you have previously worked in the food industry, that's a plus but not required.
