Nyps is Tillväxtverket's custom-developed case management system and the central system support for distributing large sums of EU funding and national support to Sweden's regions and businesses. The system enables the entire flow – from application and processing to payment and follow-up – and is a critical part of the work to strengthen regional growth through knowledge, networks, and financing. Nyps is built in Java and integrates with numerous internal and external interfaces, and now we're looking for a tester to ensure the system continues to deliver with high quality and reliability! Key Responsibilities Take overall and leading responsibility for the testing area within a larger system domain at the agency. You will act as a central figure in optimizing testing work, driving improvements to the testing framework, and coordinating the cross-functional testing group. Primarily, there is a fundamental independent responsibility for manual and automated testing of the custom-built Nyps system, integrated with internal and external interfaces. Work takes place in agile cross-functional development teams with architects, system developers, testers, UX designers, product owners, and business specialists. Relevant Technologies: Playwright, RestAssured, TypeScript, Swagger UI, SQL, JavaScript, Groovy/Python/Bash Work Location: One of the following cities: Östersund, Göteborg, Stockholm, Malmö We are looking for someone who has: A degree from a university, college, or vocational education in IT testing or system development Several years of relevant work experience in exploratory testing, test automation, and technical testing in complex environments – at a senior level Experience with RestAssured and TypeScript Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Swagger UI, or similar Comfortable working in agile teams Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written (all interviews will be conducted in Swedish) Meritorious: Experience driving testing strategies and processes at the team or organizational level Experience with Kubernetes or other container technologies Experience with application lifecycle management Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring other testers Experience with test automation at different levels: integration tests, GUI/E2E tests, and unit tests Personal Qualities Structured and takes initiative Goal- and results-focused Natural leadership ability – can lead without formal authority Good collaboration skills and ability to bring others along Confident in your technical expertise but curious and learning-oriented We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
