Do you want to take complete technical responsibility for test automation and help build processes from the ground up? We are looking for a senior and technically strong professional in test automation who wants to help establish and develop test automation at one of our clients in Gothenburg. This is a role for you if you thrive at the intersection of hands-on technology, architecture, and technical leadership. You will not only develop automated tests, but also have the opportunity to create structure, establish best practices, and help teams and the organization develop their approach to test automation. You will be an important technical driver in creating an efficient, scalable, and sustainable test automation solution. This is a direct recruitment, which means the recruitment process is conducted through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client. About the Position In this role, you will, among other things: Develop and further develop automated tests and test frameworks Set up and structure test automation Define and establish best practices in test automation Drive technical issues and contribute to test strategy and architecture Support and coach developers and testers in automated testing Train teams and the organization in test automation and working methods Collaborate closely with development, testing, and other technical functions Be a technical role model and contribute to raising overall quality You remain hands-on in technical work while enjoying taking greater responsibility for structure, architecture, and working methods. We Are Looking for You If We believe you have several years of experience in test automation and feel comfortable taking technical ownership of the area. You likely have experience with: Test automation and automated test frameworks Building or further developing test automation solutions Test strategy, test architecture, or quality assurance CI/CD and modern development environments Working closely with development and DevOps Coaching, training, or leading others in technology and testing As a person, you are self-driven, communicative, and pedagogical. You enjoy taking responsibility, driving technical issues forward, and bringing others along. It is a plus if you have experience working in a lead, architect, or specialist role.
