Then this could be the right opportunity for you. About the Position Friday is seeking a senior tactical procurement manager for a technology-intensive industrial operation in Linköping. In this role, you will be responsible for procurement of components, manufacturing services, and subcontracting work, among other things. You will work through the entire procurement process, from supplier analysis and request for quotation to negotiation, contracting, and follow-up. An important part of the assignment is to ensure that suppliers meet the organization's requirements for quality, cost, and delivery capability. You are also expected to contribute to the development of procurement work by identifying improvement opportunities, reducing supplier-related risks, and creating sustainable commercial partnerships. The role involves close collaboration with both external suppliers and internal functions such as engineering, production, and quality. As a senior procurement manager, you are expected to independently drive your areas of responsibility and contribute with a business-focused and long-term perspective. Responsibilities Manage tactical procurement of components, manufacturing services, and subcontracting work Map, qualify, and evaluate potential suppliers Conduct requests for quotation, supplier analyses, and commercial negotiations Establish, develop, and monitor supplier agreements Ensure competitive terms as well as the right quality and delivery accuracy Evaluate supplier performance and drive relevant improvement initiatives Identify and manage commercial risks in the supplier chain Contribute to the development of the supplier base and the organization's long-term procurement strategy Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate technical and operational needs into effective procurement solutions We are Looking for You if You Have several years of experience in procurement within manufacturing industry or other technology-intensive operations Have independently worked with requests for quotation, supplier selection, negotiations, and agreements Have a good understanding of industrial processes and collaborations with manufacturing subcontractors Are accustomed to monitoring suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capability Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work Great weight will be placed on your personal qualities.
