About the Role Do you want to work with business-critical systems that are essential to operations? We are seeking a technically strong systems engineer who wants to combine systems administration, technical problem-solving, business development, and coordination of initiatives that create real business value. In this role, you will have significant responsibility for our central applications and integrations. You will work closely with product owners, users, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure stable operations, continuous development, and efficient work processes. An important part of the role is to coordinate activities and changes between the business, IT, and external partners to ensure that solutions are delivered efficiently and meet business needs. Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and further develop business-critical applications and IT systems. Work closely with the business to understand needs, identify improvement opportunities, and translate them into effective technical solutions. Drive and coordinate initiatives that streamline processes, increase automation, and improve user experience. Develop smaller web- and frontend-based tools, dashboards, and user interfaces that simplify daily work for users. Ensure high availability, performance, and security in business-critical systems and integrations. Perform troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis in complex IT environments. Coordinate activities between the business, IT teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient deliveries and well-functioning solutions. Act as a bridge between the business, IT, and external suppliers by specifying requirements, following up on deliveries, and ensuring activities are driven to completion. Participate in planning and implementation of change and development initiatives, and ensure that documentation and procedures maintain high quality. Participate in a 24/7 IT on-call team to support our business-critical applications. Requirements We believe you combine strong technical interest with a clear business focus. You work in a structured and analytical manner, have an easy time building trusting relationships, and collaborate well with different stakeholders. You are driven to improve processes, translate business needs into sustainable solutions, and create value through technology. As a person, you are curious, take initiative, and enjoy contributing knowledge to the team's development. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. We would like you to have: Relevant higher education in IT, computer science, power systems, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience as a systems engineer, applications specialist, systems administrator, or similar technical role. Experience managing, operating, and further developing business-critical systems and applications. Good understanding of system architecture, integrations, databases, and technical platforms. Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, and technical problem-solving in complex IT environments. Experience coordinating activities between business, suppliers, and technical teams. Understanding of networks, server environments, security principles, and integration solutions. Experience in supplier management and requirements management is a merit. Ability to work independently, create structure, and drive multiple activities in parallel. Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Meritorious: Basic knowledge in, for example, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar technologies. Experience developing simpler web applications, dashboards, or user interfaces.
