About the Position In our cyber defense unit, you will have the opportunity to combine qualified security work with a meaningful mission – contributing to safeguarding our open society. For our security function, we are now seeking an engaged and development-oriented security officer to strengthen our internal security work. Main responsibilities include handling and administration of cases within the entire security service. You may also conduct training in security protection and other security-related tasks. To succeed in this role, you need strong analytical abilities and the ability to clearly articulate your assessments in both written documentation and oral presentations with action recommendations. This requires attention to detail and the ability to structure large amounts of information. However, at times you may need to work at a high pace with unplanned tasks. The position requires continuous education and further training, with excellent opportunities for professional development. You will participate in exercises and other activities that may involve travel outside your duty station when needed. At times the work can be intensive, which means you should be able to handle high workload periodically and have strong teamwork abilities. Together, we lead the division's security service forward. Qualifications: · Academic degree in security or other education and/or experience that the employer deems equivalent · Minimum five years of current professional experience, preferably in a larger organization/public agency, in security work · Knowledge of the security protection act · Experience conducting security protection analyses and handling and administering security incidents · Excellent Swedish skills, both spoken and written · Strong skills in MS Office Meritorious: · Previous experience working at the Swedish Armed Forces, particularly within military security services · Personnel security experience · Security clearance experience · Experience working at a public agency subject to the security protection act · SUA process experience · Systematic security work experience · Structured IT security work experience · Knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces IT systems within the intelligence and security function, for example IS U/S · Knowledge of audit operations · Experience planning and conducting training · Staff work experience · Security protection agreement experience · Class B driver's license Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone with pedagogical and social abilities who can work independently, critically, and with initiative. You can quickly understand new complex tasks, have well-developed collaboration skills, and high security awareness. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and have high integrity. Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. Headquarters has consisted of the Defense Staff, Operational Leadership, Military Intelligence and Security Service, and Headquarters' staff division and independent oversight units as of January 1, 2023. Employment with us involves placement in a security classification. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
