The firm handles both smaller and larger companies with varying complexity and often functions as the clients' extended finance department. About the Role As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will have an important role in the team. You are responsible for your own, customized client portfolio and work closely with the operations manager to support and quality assure colleagues' work. The role suits you if you want to combine hands-on accounting work with mentoring, improvement work and larger client assignments. You will be a senior specialist that others can turn to with questions about financial statements, annual reports and accounting principles. Your portfolio will be tailored to clients' size and complexity, giving you the flexibility to be both close to clients and a support to the team. Your main responsibilities include: Manage ongoing accounting, financial statements and annual reports for your own clients Prepare annual reports according to K2 and K3 Handle income tax returns for companies and individuals Provide qualified support to junior and more experienced accounting consultants on financial statement matters Review and quality assure financial statements and annual reports Work in teams on larger and more complex client assignments Participate in analyses, reporting and improvement of accounting processes Contribute to the development of digital working methods, system solutions and client solutions If interested, manage larger client projects or take on project management responsibility Why You'll Thrive Here ✔ Senior and developmental role with both individual responsibility and the opportunity to support others ✔ Digital work environment with a strong focus on smart system solutions ✔ Varied client portfolio from simpler assignments to larger and more complex companies ✔ Good opportunities to shape your development, for example towards authorization or project management ✔ Hybrid arrangements and a culture that values work-life balance even during peak season ✔ A close, unpretentious team where initiative and ideas are welcomed Who Are You? We are looking for someone with several years of experience as an accounting consultant or in qualified accounting work. You are confident with financial statements and annual reports and enjoy working broadly, from ongoing accounting to consulting and quality assurance. We would like you to have: At least 4–5 years of experience in qualified accounting work Experience preparing annual reports according to K2 and preferably K3 Experience with financial statements, income tax returns and ongoing accounting Good system skills and interest in digitalization and more efficient working methods Good Swedish in speech and writing As a person, you are driven, curious and thorough. You take responsibility from start to finish, like solving problems and find it easy to prioritize when multiple client assignments are underway simultaneously. You are also service-minded and enjoy building trusting relationships, both with clients and colleagues. Above all, you want to contribute, develop and help shape how a modern accounting firm works.
