Senior Accounting Economist to Varberg

On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a senior accounting economist at 100% to a company operating in the retail sector in Varberg. The assignment is for a minimum of 6 months and can transition into a permanent position with our client or you can enter as an interim consultant during a limited time period Responsibilities As an accounting economist, you will be part of a larger team where your main tasks include: Ongoing accounting Reconciliations Reporting Financial statement preparation Government reporting Accruals of income and expenses Annual financial statements Suitable Background We are looking for someone who thrives in a broad role and who is confident in accounting. We see that you have an education in economics or equivalent and that you have worked in a similar role before. Furthermore, you have good Excel and system knowledge and master both Swedish and English in speech & writing. It is a merit if you have experience with Business Central as well as a general interest in systems and international group environments. Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, you are an action-oriented and team-focused person who is knowledgeable in your field. You are flexible, accustomed to working independently, efficiently, and in a structured manner. Your communicative and service-oriented nature gives you the ability to build good relationships both externally and internally, thereby contributing to good cooperation and a pleasant culture in the office. Furthermore, you are curious and a problem solver. If you have previous management experience or team responsibility, that is a merit.
