Senior Accounting Economist for Consultant Assignment

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a senior and independent accounting economist for an interim assignment in central Stockholm. We are looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed, take responsibility for accounting, and contribute from day one. You will have broad and independent responsibility for accounting and will report regularly to the group. The role involves many points of contact and requires that you are confident in the entire accounting process, have control of the details, and at the same time understand the bigger picture. As an accounting economist, you will work with: Ongoing accounting Account reconciliations and monthly financial statements Customer and vendor accounting as well as invoicing Payments and bank-related tasks VAT and other ongoing accounting matters Reporting to the group Preparation of financial documents and reports About You You are an experienced consultant with solid experience in similar tasks and roles. You are confident in the entire accounting process and can independently manage reconciliations and monthly financial statements. You also have experience with reporting in a group structure and are accustomed to quickly learning new operations, systems, and ways of working. As a person, you are stable, unpretentious, and solution-oriented. You work systematically, take personal responsibility, and are comfortable in a role with high demands and many points of contact. Other Information The assignment starts as soon as possible and is expected to run for approximately three months with the possibility of extension. Full-time position.
